Its elegant trunk crowned with leaves that unfold like a parasol makes the pachira a very attractive large houseplant. It does not flower, but it compensates for this absence with a graceful habit and good hardiness.

The pachira does not like to be in full sun and tolerates a less lit location.
Ensure that the soil remains moist in summer, but without stagnant water. In winter, the root ball may dehydrate slightly between two waterings.
The leaves will remain more beautiful if they are misted regularly.
If the leaves turn yellow, the pachira is getting too much light.
Rotate the pachira from time to time as it tends to seek the light.
